He is Risen! Easter this year was celebrated at home, at our church, with Meme and Pepe. It was a wonderful celebration focused on the glorious resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. I hope you enjoy some of the snapshots from our day. And, if you want to watch/listen to the sermon here is the link to our church! http://www.hgcusa.org
The choir did a really amazing job with the music - it was a great time of praise and worship.
Easter goodies. Books, chocolate and gardening supplies!
What a good looking couple! Pepe got a hat for his birthday, and it fit just right. Hmmm, I wonder who would get him a hat? The Johnson boys, that's who!
Look at those handsome guys! Ben was up WAY past his bedtime the night before (the night of his birthday party). So, although he was in good spirits, it wasn't his best picture day.
We got to church with enough time to take a few Easter pictures. We were so concerned about not getting a parking place, or a seat, that we arrived before the first service had let out. (Thank you Meme for ironing, so that we all looked nice and we were able to leave on time!)
Andrew really seemed to enjoy being dressed up - just like Daddy, just like Pepe, just like Ben.
My big boy. He has really enjoyed telling people that he is now officially "two and a half".
So, although Gideon was dressed nicely for the Easter service, he was not in his "official" Easter outfit. He and Mommy were also absent from any pictures because he was hungry when we got to church and there would be no pacifying him. Anyway, today Mommy dressed Gideon up for some shots of him in his Easter outfit.
But he said to them, "Do not be alarmed. You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He is risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid Him.
