This week Granny Lou came to visit us in our new home in New York and boy did we have fun! Benjamin was so excited to see Granny Lou, he took her straight to "his" new playground to show her all the cool contraptions to play on. (Should it surprise me that my son enjoys the adult "Fit Center" just as much as the dinosaur slide?)
While she was here, Granny Lou blessed us by tending to the flower beds in our tiny yard. Although we don't have to worry about lawn care, the previous residents put in flowerbeds that needed some TLC. Granny Lou took charge (thank you!) and bought the perfect plants, soil and mulch. She and Benjamin had a great time planting everything. My job was photographer...my baby belly won't let me bend down with any amount of grace anymore.
Oh Boy! Ben had a great time getting dirty and all wet with Granny!
