Happy Birthday Andrew! This weekend we celebrated Andrew's first birthday with friends and family - Meme and Pepe Audette, Sam & Ashley, the wonderful Whitfords and Natalie & Nevin joined us for a fun day at the lake...and some cake. It was the first Saturday since our move that we got to enjoy some of the perks of living on a lake. We fished, roasted marshmallows, fed the ducks and enjoyed the view. Thank you God for my wonderful little boy - who is no longer a baby but a very special little man.
Andrew is blessed with Grandparents that are far away but close in spirit. Thank you Grammy and Grampy Johnson, and Granny Lou for sending gifts and cards. What a gift to have grandparents that love our little boy so much!
There was a vague robot theme to Andrew's party. The flavor of cake was carrot cake...because Andrew loves carrots so much. (When I designed the cake I didn't realize how unappetizing carrot cake with blue frosting would be...but Andrew didn't seem to mind.)
