Last week the Johnson family vacationed, just the four of us, in the mountains of Virginia. It was a week of relaxation, fun and quality time. Here are a couple of pictures highlighting our trip.

We spent some time at the resorts 4th of July celebration - which was a combination of a fair, live music, food and fireworks. We ended up getting rained out after a thunder storm soaked us, so we didn't get to enjoy any fireworks this year. But, honestly, there was no way we were make it to the fireworks anyway - the boys and Mommy have too early a bedtime. However, we were there long enough for the boys to try their first funnel cake. What a treat!
On the actual 4th of July we hiked a bit of the Appalachian Trail. Happy Independence Day!

We spent most of the days in the pools. Although there were great kid pools, Andrew enjoyed swimming with Daddy the most.
