Getting to Kansas

The Johnsons have arrived in our new hometown in Kansas!  Driving out here was not bad.  God blessed us with safety.  Dan and I are also so grateful for our boys - who are great travelers.  We had a fun adventure driving from the East Coast to the Heartland.  Here are a few pictures of our travels.  Enjoy!
Dan did an amazing job of finding AWESOME playgrounds en route.  This was our first stop. A treehouse playground!

Another stop on our trip was St. Louis.  Can you tell it was hot?  However, we had a good time viewing the Arch and the Mississippi River.
Gideon at the Arch.  Westward Hoo!
Daddy and his boys hanging out under the Arch.
 Smiles.
Next stop was this fun playground across from the St. Louis Zoo.  A park filled with GIANT statues of turtles (why not?).  The boys had a blast climbing all over these funny creatures.

Finally we made it to Kansas.  Gideon enjoyed having both his brothers push him in a swing before the last leg of our journey.
And this cool yellow house is our temporary lodging.  Getting to it made us all laugh.  Somehow we managed to find a house on a dirt road overlooking a lake.  Sound familiar?
