Christmas morning was celebrated a few days early at the Johnson household. What a fun morning we had. We enjoyed opening presents from each other and from our family far away. For breakfast we enjoyed
cheesy egg
casserole,
choreg, pumpkin bread and sausage. Our traditions are simple and
wacky, and we love them. Here are some snapshots from our special morning together.
Andrew is ready to go sledding! Thank you Grammy and
Grampy for sending the boys a cool sled. Although we didn't have a white Christmas this year, I'm sure we'll be getting some snow soon. It is COLD!
The boys
received fruit snacks and clementines in their stockings. They were excited and I appreciate that they find joy in a few simple treats.
Andrew enjoyed checking out all the presents. Is he peaking?
Daddy
received a variety of olives from Santa in his stocking - this is one of our traditions. Feta olives, jalapeno olives, garlic olives...
Santa brought Ben a
Leapster Game System and some games. Not the new
iPad Leapster, but one a few years older that he found on
Craigslist. What a surprise - Santa recycles!
Andrew loves balls right now, and it is one of his favorite words. Santa brought Andrew his very own soccer and football this Christmas.
Guns and trucks! Thank you Grammy and
Grampy.
A Christmas for little boys -
nerf guns, helmets, balls, toy soldiers, trucks. Thank you God for providing us a fun-filled morning. Thank you for our family. Thank you most of all for coming to save us all!
