The
ABCD Johnsons enjoyed our first overnight ski trip this weekend, and it was a blast. To be honest, I was very concerned before we left with what to bring and how we would coordinate skiing with two little boys. But we all had fun and I learned a lot that will help me plan for future trips. We are so grateful for our friends the Whitfords who invited us to come with them, and who are a lot of fun to hang out with! The Whitfords (Andy, Angie, Jack and Oliver) also have two little boys, which meant everyone had a buddy. I hope you enjoy a few pictures of our trip!

Andrew and I didn't ski this time, but we had a lot of fun hanging out and watching everything that was going on.

Ben and his buddy Jack. The Whitfords invited us to join them for "Christmas in NYC" this year too. My friend Angie does a great job of prompting me to travel outside of my comfort zone, which I really appreciate. We've had so much fun.

Dan spent a lot of time with Ben, teaching him the basics - what a great Dad!

Who needs a lift when you have Daddy to bring you places?

Andrew and I enjoyed our time in the lodge. Mmmmm, cookies!

Snow! But, all
man made.
Currently there isn't any snow on the ground in the Northeast. The few inches we received last week melted when the temperature reached 50 degrees.

Ben participated in a ski class. He did a great job listening and skiing for 90 minutes. He is growing up and becoming more independent.

Ben and his teacher, Miss Katie. Do you like his helmet? I would just like to mention that we discovered this weekend that Ben wears an adult medium helmet. What a giant head!

Mommy and Andrew spent a lot of quality time together. We explored and walked all around the resort. He is a cutie pie and I love him so much!

The boys were asleep about 5 minutes after we began our journey home. We've finally found an activity that will exhaust 2
energetic boys! We love them so and look forward to many more ski trips as a family. Thank you God for this opportunity!
